Father Fred Riegler – Pastor Emeritus

Father Fred was born in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia of immigrant parents. He was ordained in 1967. For much of his early priesthood he was a teacher, nineteen years of which he was a professor at St. Charles Seminary. Prior to coming to St. Isidore's, he was pastor at St. John the Baptist in Manayunk (Philadelphia). He has served the people of St. Isidore Parish from his appointment as Pastor in June of 1998 until his retirement in June of 2019. In recognition of his 21 years of faithful service as our Pastor, upon his retirement, Fr. Fred was granted the title of Pastor Emeritus of St. Isidore Parish.
